Trama:
La storia racconta la vita di una famiglia di Bagheria - Baarìa in siciliano - attraverso tre generazioni, partendo dagli anni Trenta, durante il regime fascista, per arrivare agli anni Ottanta. Gli eventi storici s'intrecciano con le vicende del borgo siciliano: l'entrata in guerra dell'Italia, le spaccature politiche, le conquiste culturali, la riforma agraria e le rivoluzioni sociali.
